Papercuts examines the disproportionate emotional weight of seemingly insignificant memories. Fleeting embarrassments and forgotten conversations resurface in the early hours, alongside more painful experiences, in an exploration of rumination and sleeplessness. The original vocal recording was ultimately retained after MYRY temporarily lost her voice, preserving a performance she had initially intended to revisit.
